Today is the third day of PAPS 2022, and we are here with the updates about the event. As mentioned previously, Pak Suzuki planned to unveil 6 new cars at this automotive show, and it has already unveiled Suzuki XL 7 and Suzuki Wagon R Stingray on the first day, and Suzuki Hustler and Suzuki Ertiga on the second day.  On the third day, Suzuki unveiled Xbee and Wagon R. Here are exclusive pictures and salient specs and features of these two cars.  Suzuki Xbee Like Suzuki Hustler, the Suzuki Xbee is also a 996cc hybrid car that produces 73kW/5500rpm power. The 5-door SUV has a 32 L fuel capacity with Front Wheel Drive. But now Suzuki has displayed its second hybrid variant - the Wagon R 2022. The 998cc hybrid car comes with a more clean exterior and interior. We are back with another owner's review; this time, we have Suzuki Wagon R VXL. First launched in 2014, the Wagon R is an entry-level hatchback with Suzuki's K series engine; this engine is quieter and more fuel-efficient than older Suzuki engines. Its 1.0 Liter DOHC engine produces 67hp and 90Nm of torque and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, while an AGS variant was also offered last year. Purchase Decision The owner previously had a Suzuki Mehran and wanted to upgrade. He had a budget of Rs. 10 to 11 lacs, in which he considered Cultus (old shape) and the Wagon R. He opted for this car as it had Suzuki's latest K series engine and way more features than the Cultus. He bought the car for Rs. 11 lacs, including registration. Salient Features The Wagon R does not offer a range of features, but it has all the basic stuff, including a power steering, front power windows, hydraulic disc brakes, air conditioner, central locking, etc. Build Quality According to the owner, the car's build quality contradicts the inferiority of other Suzuki cars and is quite satisfactory. The grain of the plastic is good, there's no issue with fits and finish in the car, and there are no faults like panel gaps. Fuel Average As per the owner, he gets a fuel average of a maximum of 12 to 13 km/l within the city on normal driving, but if the car is driven aggressively, it comes down to 9 to 10 km/l. Handling Just judging by its shape; clearly, Wagon R is not aerodynamic, but it stays stable till 110 km/h. However, the car is not the best in handling at high speeds and shows signs of body roll. Ground Clearance The Wagon R has 170 mm of very optimal ground clearance, and according to the owner, the car does not touch the ground even with five passengers. Storage Spaces The car lacks storage spaces to keep items like cup holders; moreover, the glove box is very small along with the narrow door compartments. However, it has a unique storage space under the front passenger seat, which can be very handy for storing valuables. AC Performance As per the owner, AC is one of the best features of this car and is very impressive. The vehicle has an analog AC and performs very well even in harsh weather conditions. Missing Features The owner majorly misses two features in this car which are rear-powered windows and adjustable mirrors. He feels that these features could have been easily added, which would have enhanced the car's practicality. Spare parts Parts are readily available at the dealership and local markets, but the prices are very high, considering it's an entry-level hatchback. The side mirrors cost around 50,000 rupees, while the rear windscreen cost the owner Rs. 25,000 to replace. Along with that, the car has plastic wheel caps which cost 4000 rupees each. Watch Video

Today, we'll talk about one of the most seen cars on our roads, the Suzuki Wagon R. This owner's family bought a Wagon R in good times when it used to be affordable. Let's hear the whole story to see if they are happy with the car or not. Purchase & Price The owner's family had a 1992 Suzuki Mehran, and they wanted to upgrade. In 2017, they got a brand-new Suzuki Wagon R VXL financed with Askari Bank for Rs. 11 lacs. The bank helped a lot and made the whole process really smooth. They booked the car in January 2017 and got it in May 2017.   Fuel Average Since the whole family uses the car and four people drive it, there is no exact fuel average number to quote. But, generally, you can easily get 14 to 15 kilometers per litre on average in the city. Seating & Boot Space Wagon R feels like a king-sized bed compared to other cars like Alto and City. There's excellent headroom and legroom for all passengers.  Boot space is something you have to compromise on. The trunk does not have enough space even to put groceries. Maintenance & Parts Availability Suzuki Wagon R is one of the easiest cars to maintain. Regular maintenance only costs Rs. 3,000 - 3,500, and all spare parts are readily available in the market.  Comfort On the scale of comfort, Suzuki Wagon R comes above Mehran but under Alto and Cultus. The seats are very hard, so you get too tired too soon.  Missing Features There's one thing Wagon R has in common with Mehran: they both only go from point A to point B. There is no comfort, no entertainment, and no safety features, whatsoever. The car does not even have Bluetooth connectivity, let alone ABS and airbags.  Final Statement on Suzuki Wagon R In the words of the owner — "Wagon R is the best family car for day to day use. It's totally worth 11 lacs and I would 100% recommend to buy a used Suzuki Wagon R. But the car does not justify its current price, which is around Rs. 16.6 lacs. That's just absurd."
