Peugeot 3008 is a compact crossover SUV that has been manufactured by the French automobile manufacturer since 2008. It was first presented to the public in 2008 and then later in 2010.

The first generation Peugeot 3008 received the Car of the Year award for 2010 by What Car magazine. Its hybrid version was launched in 2012 and became the world's first mass-production diesel-electric hybrid vehicle.

The second generation of Peugeot 3008 was introduced in 2016. It featured several upgrades in its design and interior. The exterior shared similarities with SUVs in the C segment while it also included Peugeot’s i-Cockpit. In addition, there was an eight-inch touch screen on the center console, a 12.3-inch heads-up display, and a small steering wheel.

In 2020, Peugeot introduced a facelift for the Peugeot 3008. The interior of the vehicle has been refreshed with an enlarged touchscreen and revised rear lighting, as well as a new front-end styling.

MG HS lies in the same price range and shares all the features of Peugeot 3008. The only downside of MG HS is that its 1.5L engine cannot compete with that of 3008.

Hyundai Tucson also gives fierce competition as it supersedes Peugeot 3008 with its 2.0L engine. It is also more affordable than 3008.

Kia Sportage is a lot cheaper than Peugeot 3008 due to which both have strong competition in the market. Kia Sportage also has a 2.0L engine which might be more in capacity but is less in power than that of Peugeot 3008’s engine.
